As a black person, I've got mixed feelings about this holiday. On one hand, it's dope to honor the brave folks who fought for freedom against the British back in the day. But on the other hand, let's not forget that back then, black people were still slaves. So while we celebrate this holiday, let's also remember the struggles and sacrifices of all people of color throughout history.

Check out this sick road trip pic! The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are a bunch of wealthy, mostly white ladies who are super into patriotism and history. They took a road trip around the east coast visiting all these historic sites related to the American Revolution, and this pic is from their stop at The Battle Green in Lexington, Massachusetts. I kinda wish there were more black folks in this pic, but still, it's kinda cool to see all these ladies geeking out about history.
